Chapter 13 - Environmental Disaster

I just came from the San Diego border where we filmed our first weekend of our new documentary, “This is Treason!” The border is an ecological wasteland of trash, human waste, soiled diapers, used condoms, pregnancy tests, clothes and everything else invaders wanted to discard on our nation. Walking the border made me sick!

The entire border from El Paso, Texas to the southwestern most point of the United States, Imperial Beach, California is a contaminated wasteland. The hordes of humanity come from places that resemble our local city landfills and we are shocked at their complete disregard to our local customs and norms, namely sanitation and cleanliness. Not to mention civility. But why should these invaders comply with our norms? We don’t even make them comply with our laws so why would they care one bit about our customs and beliefs? Instead, it is us, the American citizen, that must change our expectations and beliefs to conform to the law breakers and invaders.
