New York City Mayor Adams just opened the 85th New York City hotel to house approximately 42,000 illegal aliens that made their way from the open southern border. These hotels are rated from three to four stars and are contracted until May of 2024. You read those previous two sentences correctly. What about the New York City homeless? What hotels are those 68,000 homeless being housed in? No hotels for our citizens! They stay in overcrowded homeless shelters in the city. These homeless shelters are so bad that the homeless choose to live on the streets. A homeless 32-year-old man named Christopher Wray stated the scene at these shelters perfectly, “Things would get stolen. People could pop your locker. It was a little hectic, you know, and that's when a lot of people were smoking the synthetic weed stuff. It was just crazy all around. I had a knife pulled on me. I was robbed in there. I don't even know how they got a knife in there because they got to go through a metal detector.”Click Here I wonder if any of the 42,000 illegal aliens living in the four-star hotels are experiencing the same concerns as Mr. Wray?
New York City has already spent over 650 million dollars on these illegal aliens and the city expects the total cost to soar to over 4 billion by the end of the year. New York City Emergency Management Commissioner Zach Iscol openly stated that this is unsustainable. Mayor Adams stated the obvious, “It is wrong what we’re doing to Chicago, to Washington, and to New York City and others, and even El Paso. One city, or our small cities, should not be burdened this way. That has never been done before. That is what’s being done now.” Click Here Remember this is the same Mayor that prior to this invasion proudly stated that New York City was a sanctuary city and warmly welcomed all people to his city. Amazingly, only 42,000 illegals and several months has completely changed his tone!
It is hard to overstate how morally wrong this situation is in New York City. How can we spend over 4 billion dollars on foreigners illegally in our nation while we ignore the men, women and children that are American citizens that desperately need our help. We could take that 4 billion spent on these illegals and rebuild all the homeless shelters in New York City as well as build the needed facilities to ensure all homeless are taken care of properly. Discussions on the proper way to help the homeless causes intense debate but caring for our brothers, sisters and children over foreigners should never be a debate.
What is occurring in NYC is happening across the nation from large cities to small towns. NYC is taking care of only 42,000 illegal aliens. There have been millions of illegal aliens released into America. We are only beginning to witness the manifestation of the intentional destruction of the American immigration system by Biden and his traitorous administration.
