Means Testing

Whenever you are looking at a problem and are trying to articulate a solution, the prudent thing to do is to stop, take a step away to look at the problem from the outside, test your solution against the problem in the problem’s current form, and then adjust your solution if needed.

I did that today. I looked at the destruction of the American immigration system from several angles. I looked at every angle of this problem, especially from outside my worldview and outside of my theories, to see if I was correct in my assessment and in my solutions. I spoke with several of my sources, former colleagues, and I even spoke with an outside contractor working on the border infrastructure. I researched opposing articles against my views on the current immigration situation. In short, I means tested my own strongly held beliefs and what I found was that America is in terrible shape. The immigration and open border problem is getting worse and there is no strategy to halt the downward spiral.

As if I needed further convincing that my experience, research, and vetted data is correct, several Border Patrol Agents from San Diego Sector contacted me independently of each other. They are completely demoralized. One of these agents literally begged me for help getting their message out, “J.J. please help us!” They feel abandoned by their leadership in the Patrol and lied to by their very own government.

One of the agents from the Imperial Beach Border Patrol Station, which patrols from the most southwestern point of the United States to the San Ysidro Port of Entry, reached out to me today. This agent said the six linear miles of border with Tijuana are chaotic as hundreds of illegal aliens are pouring over the fence and squatting between the primary border fence and the new “Trump Wall”. He was texting me as two hundred individuals from Sudan, Somalia, Angola, Ethiopia, and Burquina Faso squatted between the fences on a location called “Spooner’s Mesa”. Ironically, Spooner’s Mesa is one of the best overlooks of the entire Southern California landscape. On a good day, you can see all of Coronado, Point Loma, and the skyline of San Diego. However, between these fences is chaos, filth, and desperation.

I was told that this scene on Spooner’s Mesa is now a daily occurrence with five, six, and even seven hundred Other Than Mexicans (OTMs) are climbing, squatting, and then waiting on Border Patrol Agents to bring buses (yes real buses) to pick them up and transport them to the station. These enormous groups are being strategically controlled by the narcotic cartels. The cartels orchestrate these hordes of humanity and direct them to the exact location that they want these illegal aliens to cross. They do this because the cartels are moving either narcotics or individuals that do not want to be arrested which rises their cost of smuggling. I was told the squatters are charged $1,000 a person. So, the cartels are making 500 to 700 thousand dollars a day just in Imperial Beach. There are another four border stations in San Diego Sector, so we are looking at smuggling fees in the millions of dollars a day in ONE Border Patrol Sector!

So far in Fiscal Year 2023, border arrests are at 1.2 million and we are just halfway through the fiscal year that started in October. I need to mention that this 1.2 number is a government lie as they now do not count asylum and parole cases in the total number of border arrests. This is a manipulation of policy and historic accounting. The Biden Administration is trying to put lipstick on a pig! The real monthly arrest numbers are over 200 thousand every month. We are heading into another three million arrested and released this fiscal year. This does not include the millions more that go undetected and abscond into our nation.

The outside contractor that I spoke with confirmed everything that the agents described to me. I like to get as many different perspectives as possible to make certain I report accurately. This contractor stated that he could not drive across Spooner’s Mesa because there were people as far as he could see. He told me something that is rarely discussed and that is when these hundreds of Africans were loaded into buses, the enormous amounts of trash they left littered on the ground is indescribable. Trash, human feces, and burn pits cover the border landscape. This environmental disaster is occurring across the southern border.

The problem is spreading like stage four cancer. However, the patient, America, is doing nothing to stop the spread of her deadly disease. Instead, America does everything she can to help the cancer grow. America’s family, us, watches in horror as she quickly dies.
