Title 42 - The Shiny Distraction

Title 42 allows Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to prohibit entry of foreigners that may pose a health risk from entering the United States.

Title 42 is the shiny object that the politicians and the elites throw in the air and exclaim, “Everyone look…” as Rome burns.

I compare Title 42 to being on a diet and you eat eleven of the dozen donuts. You congratulate yourself for not finishing off the box, but you are still overweight!

Title 42 represents maybe one hundred thousand migrants that are camped on the southern side of the border fence. These one hundred thousand migrants from the numerous nations around the globe are a fraction of the immense invasion we face daily on the border. In the first twenty-seven months of the Biden Administration and under the guidance of Mayorkas, the Border Patrol has arrested and then released between five and six million illegal aliens into the United States. Every month another two hundred thousand to two hundred and forty thousand illegal aliens are being arrested by the Border Patrol or the illegal aliens are using asylum or parole, fraudulently, by presenting themselves to the numerous ports of entry across the southern border. Then there are the hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens that go undetected each month because of the open and unpatrolled borders.
